Use all your technical analysis skills as you help protect the UK from threat
When you join us in this important new role youll analyse operational technical surveillance countermeasures, assist with strategic technical threat assessments, and support research and development activities. Using a range of intelligence and information sources to produce specific reports, and leading the delivery of technical security incidents, youll also respond to requests for threat advice and guidance, lead cross-functional teams to deliver detailed consulting projects, and ensure that all analysis work is expertly reviewed and conforms to Professional Head of Intelligence Assessment Common Analytical Standards.
Your day-to-day work will be extremely diverse, and include managing relationships with third-party suppliers of data, tools and specialist skills, acting as a trusted source of technical threat expertise, and deciding how analysis and outputs should be tailored and classified for different audiences. Well expect you to build relationships with external providers of intelligence and information, contribute expert advice to working groups and professional bodies, take ownership of the production of technical threat assessments, and identify, evaluate and develop new sources of data, tools and techniques.
