About the role
Support the Logistics team that works to keep the UK safe and secure. Our dedicated and collaborative Logistics Senior Leadership team operates across our organisation to provide a service of the highest quality. In this vital role you’ll provide them with the support and assistance they need to do their work on projects, governance, transformation and transition. Organising key meetings, providing secretariat support, managing diaries and inboxes, keeping accurate records and minutes, drafting communications – you’ll focus on all these things and more as you help to keep the team running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Balance a number of competing demands and changing priorities.
- Respond to requests and feedback from stakeholders.
- Build close relationships with other team members.
- Ensure the Head of Logistics’ Hera account is managed effectively, including handling of expenses.
- Assist with the management of annual leave requests and performance reviews.
- Monitor stocks of office consumables, manage filing systems and raise purchase orders.
- Arrange UK and overseas travel.
- Organise events, onboard new members of the team and resolve queries from customers.
Qualifications
- Highly organised, a natural problem solver and able to work to tight deadlines without direct supervision.
- Superb communicator with experience of minute taking, proofreading, summarising and understanding complex information.
- Strong customer focus, good knowledge of project processes and the Microsoft Office suite of software.
- Flexible, enthusiastic, positive and capable of adapting quickly to change.
