About the role: A brand-new role that lets you shape your own responsibilities and career path within the Digital and Data technology team. You will support the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the wider team in delivering the CISO Strategy and Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO) work plan. The role involves managing enquiries, supporting teams, and keeping training on information and cyber security up to date.
Responsibilities:
- Support the CISO and wider team in delivering the CISO Strategy and SIRO work plan.
- Manage enquiries and support teams across various projects.
- Review training materials twice a year, identify knowledge gaps and create videos and e-learning for targeted and organisation-wide audiences.
- Own the Supplier Assurance policy, guidance and training material – identify risks, stay abreast of changes to government policy around Supply Chain Security and the impact of AI, and draft communications to inform the wider organisation.
- Lead compliance efforts: conduct regular monitoring, reporting and assessments, and attend meetings where evidence of compliance is required.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented with a strong willingness to learn and take responsibility.
- Technically minded, open to progressing with AI and how it can work within teams, and able to challenge resistance to new processes.
- Strong IT literacy and extensive practical experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience keeping accurate data, analysing it and using it to produce clear, concise reports featuring narrative and visuals.
- Ability to draft, author and interpret policy, guidance and process documentation.
- Excellent communication skills – able to influence stakeholders at all levels, both in writing and verbally.
- Capable of completing administrative tasks, multi-tasking and working with minimal supervision.
