Overview
At FCDO Services we protect the UK’s interests at home and abroad, designing and constructing secure government buildings and managing diplomatic logistics worldwide. Our work is varied and vital, and we never lose sight of our people. You will join our HR team, supporting senior leaders to build organisational capability and capacity through highly effective workforce planning, performance and talent management, and innovative people solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leaders to design and implement strategic workforce plans aligned with business objectives.
- Drive performance management, talent development and succession planning across the organisation.
- Develop and deliver HR policies and procedures that support the UK’s global mission.
- Analyse HR and business data, performance metrics and employee feedback to provide actionable insights.
- Coaching line managers and senior leaders on people development and change management.
- Ensure compliance with employment law, civil service HR policies and controls.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 7 CIPD qualification or equivalent (desirable).
- Proven track record in strategic workforce and capacity planning in a complex organisation.
- Strong business‑partnering, consultancy and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Expert knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience in a commercial environment and understanding of civil service HR policies (desirable).
- Excellent data‑driven decision‑making capabilities.
