As a Management Accountant, you will:
- Solve financial problems and offer vital support to our global organisation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
- Work on a large number of complex and varied projects.
- Be involved with efficiency challenges, detailed project deep dive analysis, and the quarterly financial forecasting cycle.
- Develop and deliver the full suite of monthly MI reports to support business decision making.
- Review compliance controls to ensure they’re fully exercised on a monthly basis.
- Ensure labour costs are accurately reported and recovered across functions.
- Support the development of Opex and Capex proposals.
- Lead on financial tracking to ensure benefits are realised.
- Coordinate the development of corporate business plans.
We expect you to have:
- Experience of operating in a project accounting environment.
- Customer and supplier relationship management skills.
- The ability to analyse, interrogate and evaluate data.
- Familiarity with accounting systems, financial planning, forecasting and reporting.
- Practical knowledge of specialist systems and databases such as ERP, Oracle.
- Experience of working in public sector finance.
- A well-developed understanding of Oracle Fusion/Cloud.
