Key Responsibilities
- Management and delivery of colleagues’ Hera objectives, leading on fixed assets, accounts receivable, cash management, general ledger, reporting and Oracle time and labour.
- Delivery of medium sized projects and ensuring the team’s expertise and skills are fully and appropriately developed.
- Managing, developing and aiding the personal progression of a B3 SME, keeping up to date with changes in the business environment and functional Oracle developments.
- Providing ‘Helpdesk’ assistance, answering queries and offering expert guidance to Hera users, developing friendly relationships with other SMEs, key business associates and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring Hera change control processes are followed at all times, managing your own professional development, and enhancing knowledge of Oracle Financials applications used by FCDO Services.
Candidate Qualifications
- Well‑developed experience in a finance function.
- Good practical understanding of at least two Oracle Finance modules.
- Ability to manage business change, with part‑qualification of CCAB, CIMA or equivalent.
- Confident verbal and written communicator, collaborative and highly motivated team worker.
- Staff management experience desirable, familiarity with project management and the commercial world.
- Up‑to‑date understanding of Artificial Intelligence an advantage.
- Knowledge of tax and financial accounting and experience working in a project delivery organisation with diverse colleagues and stakeholders.
