Salary: £38,332 - £39,558 plus a location allowance of £1,750 plus an allowance of up to £3,000 depending on professional qualifications. Based in Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes, with the flexibility of hybrid working depending on business need. Free shuttle bus available between central Milton Keynes and Hanslope Park.

Our Finance team takes great pride in understanding the value in the financial management of these projects, ensuring compliance with the National Audit Office to help deliver year-end accounts to Parliament.
As an enthusiastic and thoughtful problem solver, you’ll have the skills to help ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations, and be ready to work on a large number of complex and varied projects. You’ll also be involved with efficiency challenges, detailed project deep dive analysis, and the quarterly financial forecasting cycle.
You’ll support the development of Opex and Capex proposals, lead on financial tracking to ensure benefits are realised, and coordinate the development of our corporate business plans.
As a Management Accountant with experience of operating in a project accounting environment, you’ll possess customer and supplier relationship management skills, and the ability to analyse, interrogate and evaluate data. Familiarity with accounting systems, financial planning, forecasting and reporting is expected, along with practical knowledge of specialist systems and databases such as ERP and Oracle. Experience of working in public sector finance and a well-developed understanding of Oracle Fusion/Cloud is also required.
