Responsibilities
- Lead the ICT category strategy and procurement across FCDO Services
- Head and develop the ICT procurement team and nurture supplier relationships
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align category plans with business needs
- Assess and manage supply chain risk and market opportunities
- Ensure timely delivery of ICT products/services at the right cost and quality
- Foster a high standards of ethics and governance in procurement
- Lead decision-making in procurement and empower team members
Key requirements
- MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in procurement, contract management, supplier relationships, strategic solution development and risk management
- Preferably ICT category experience
- Knowledge of UK procurement regulations and corporate governance
- Strong communication, influencing and senior stakeholder engagement skills
