Business Support Officer (UK NACE)

Location: Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes with hybrid working flexibility.

About the role

You’ll focus on ensuring specialist staff have everything they need for deployments and training, from equipment, travel and practical arrangements to planning and coordinating operational logistics.

You\’ll maintain and manipulate key data and records, supporting enabling functions for the smooth running of our national security work. You will manage specific assets such as training schedules, tooling, vehicles and specialist equipment, and ensure accurate distribution and record‑keeping.

Prepared to handle sensitive information following strict security guidelines, the role requires adaptability, proactive organisation, problem‑solving and practical skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are essential to collaborate with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders.

Qualifications & skills

Ideal candidate is adaptable, proactive, highly organised, detail‑oriented, with strong problem‑solving and practical thinking abilities. Experience in general administration, data collection and reporting, and supporting a technical workforce is desirable. Recent graduates willing to learn and grow in a front‑line organisation are encouraged to apply.
