Site Supervisor – Bletchley Landfill Site
Hours – Full-time, Monday to Friday
As a Site Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in the safe, compliant, and efficient day-to-day running of our Bletchley Landfill Site. You will support the Site Business Manager to ensure the operation adheres to all health, safety, environmental, and quality standards while maintaining exceptional service delivery and environmental compliance.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.
What are we looking for?
We’re seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual who:
– Has experience supervising operational teams, ideally within landfill or waste management
– Holds or is willing to work towards a relevant COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence)
– Is a confident and competent plant operator
– Is computer literate and able to keep accurate records
– Understands environmental and permit compliance
– Demonstrates leadership qualities and is committed to maintaining high standards
– Holds a full UK car driving licence
What will you be doing?
– Ensuring site operations are conducted safely and in line with all regulations and permits
– Leading and mentoring the on-site team to deliver high performance and safety standards
– Managing contractors and overseeing plant and resource use for maximum efficiency
– Monitoring and supporting weighbridge operations and compliance with Duty of Care
– Reporting incidents, maintaining records, and participating in audits and investigations
– Supporting the Site Manager with budget control, maintenance, and customer service
– Promoting good housekeeping, traffic control, and site restoration where required
