Then look no furtherβ¦ Tipper Driver Salary β Β£14.67 per hour Hours β 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday Location β Whisby IBA, Lincoln LN6 (commuting from Nottingham to Lincoln for a maximum of 4 weeks at the start) As a Tipper Driver at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of materials between our Energy from Waste facilities and Whisby Landfill. You will work independently most of the time, completing collections and ensuring high standards of safety, reliability, and professionalism. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 45 hours per week with occasional overtime. Our promise to you β Competitive salary β 20 daysβ annual leave (full-time working) plus Bank Holidays β Pension scheme β On-the-job training and progression β Recognition scheme β Refer a friend β Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme, gym membership savings, and more (where applicable) β Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing Platform What will you be doing? β Driving a modern 32-tonne rigid tipper vehicle β Transporting bottom ash safely between North Hykeham/East Croft EFW facilities and Whisby Landfill β Completing a minimum of 3-9 loads per day, depending on the site location β Carrying out daily vehicle checks, paperwork and weighbridge ticket collection β Reporting vehicle movements, tonnages and defects to the Senior Driver/Contract Supervisor β Liaising with FCC managers at Nottingham, Lincoln and Whisby sites β Helping to maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards What are we looking for? β A valid Cat C Licence β Driver CPC (minimum of 35 hours) and digital tachograph card β Someone reliable, safety-conscious and able to work independently β Previous tipper driving experience is desirable, but not essential β full training will be provided Please note: For the first few weeks (maximum of 4), this role will involve commuting from Nottingham to Lincoln, as the trucks will be located in Nottingham before moving permanently to Whisby (Lincoln).
