Tipper Driver
Salary: Β£14.67 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Lincoln North Hykeham EFW / Whisby Landfill (LN6 9BT) & Eastcroft Depot (NG2 3JH)
As a Tipper Driver at FCC Environment, you will:
β Drive a Tipper Vehicle (up to 32 tonne gross vehicle weight rigid) between North Hykeham EFW or East Croft EFW and Whisby Landfill.
β Undertake a minimum of 3 loads of Bottom Ash from East Croft EFW to Whisby Landfill or 9 loads from North Hykeham EFW to Whisby Landfill daily.
β Assist with cleaning vehicles (training provided).
β Complete all required paperwork and vehicle checks.
β Report vehicle defects and liaise with management and maintenance providers.
β Ensure the safety and security of your vehicle and follow all Health & Safety procedures.
β Be flexible and willing to undertake other driving duties & additional hours as required.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking someone who:
β Holds a valid Cat C licence, digital tachograph card, and has completed a minimum of 35 hours of Drivers CPC.
β Is CPC qualified (preferred).
β Is reliable and trustworthy.
β Can work independently and use their own initiative.
β Is courteous to the public and can follow clear instructions.
β Has knowledge of the local area (advantageous but not essential).
β Is committed to adhering to company health and safety rules.
β Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be given.
