Senior Tipper Driver
Salary Β£15.17 per hour
Hours 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location Whisby IBA, Lincoln LN6 (commuting from Nottingham to Lincoln for a maximum of four weeks at the start)
As a Senior Tipper Driver at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in transporting materials safely and efficiently between our energy from waste facilities and Whisby Landfill. You will also act as the main point of contact for other drivers on-site, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with all safety standards.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 45 hours per week with occasional overtime.

What will you be doing?
β Driving a modern 32-tonne rigid tipper vehicle
β Collecting and transporting bottom ash safely between sites and Whisby Landfill
β Acting as the on-site contact for other drivers, supporting daily operations
β Carrying out vehicle checks, completing paperwork, and weighbridge ticket records
β Liaising with FCC managers across our Lincoln and Nottingham sites
β Maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness to company standards
What are we looking for?
β A valid Cat C Licence
β Driver CPC (minimum 35 hours) and digital tachograph card
β Reliable, safety-focused and able to work independently
β Previous tipper driving experience is desirable, but not essential full training will be provided
Please note: For the first few weeks (maximum four), this role will involve commuting from Nottingham to Lincoln, as the trucks will be in Nottingham before moving permanently to Whisby (Lincoln).
