As an Operations Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will assist the Contract Operations Manager in overseeing the safe and efficient operation of our MRF/WTS & Compost facilities. This includes ensuring health and safety compliance, environmental responsibility, and operational excellence in line with company objectives.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Ensuring all staff, contractors and visitors comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policies
- Supervising reception, tipping, sorting and loading operations on-site
- Co-ordinating staff schedules, shift patterns and contractor activities
- Managing maintenance planning and ensuring plant availability
- Conducting inspections and maintaining safety and environmental records
- Supporting the development of site teams and providing training
- Identifying opportunities to improve operations and stakeholder engagement
- Providing cover across sites including support for Dix Pit HWRC & Transfer Station as required

- Proven supervisory experience in an operational or waste management setting
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental compliance
- Ability to lead teams effectively and manage operational logistics
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to support business needs including on-call availability
- Experience with mobile plant operations and site maintenance preferred
