Operations Administrator
Salary Competitive
Hours 37.5 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Location Allington EfW Facility, Kent, ME16 0LE
As an Operations Administrator at FCC Environment, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Allington site. Youll support the management team with a broad range of duties, including training co-ordination, training, auditing, co-ordination and development of systems and people to best support the commercial performance of the site.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
– Co-ordinating training activities and liaising with FCCs training department
– Supporting recruitment and HR tasks, including onboarding documentation and status changes
– Submitting monthly overtime and maintaining sickness/holiday records
– Organising occupational health appointments and immunisation scheduling
– Managing contractor liaison for cleaning, laundry, and printer services
– Ordering and managing stock of stationery, PPE, and canteen supplies
– Booking travel, hotels, and internal/external meetings
– Maintaining document filing systems, including safety and personnel files
– Providing reception and telephone support as needed
– Carrying out ad hoc administrative tasks to support the management team
What are we looking for?
– Minimum 3 years experience in a similar administrative role
– Experience in an industrial environment and familiarity with procedural workflows
– Confident IT user MS Office, SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams
– Excellent organisational and communication skills
– Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with resilience and professionalism
– Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
– A proactive and positive team player
