Location: Mid & East Kent
As an Artic Driver at FCC Environment, you will play a key role in delivering a safe, professional, and reliable service across the Mid & East Kent contract and off-taker sites. You will operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, promote a positive professional image, and help meet customer expectations for service and quality.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 to 6 days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Safely operating allocated LGV vehicles in line with the Mid & East Kent contract
- Ensuring the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, site visitors, and members of the public
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly
- Complying with SHEQ procedures, risk assessments, and site permits
- Maintaining high driving standards both on site and on the public highway
- Completing tachograph, defect, and work time documentation accurately and on time
- Reporting incidents, accidents, near misses, and vehicle damage in line with procedures
- Communicating operational issues promptly with the Transport Office
- Following route instructions, diversions, and work instructions as required
- Using in-cab technology correctly and safely
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required by management
What are we looking for?
- A full LGV C+E licence, digital tachograph card, and Driver Qualification Card (DQC)
- A strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Knowledge of EU Drivers Hours, RTDs, and work time legislation
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- Customer-focused with strong communication skills
- Able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
- Hookloader and drawbar experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
