Then look no further...Control & Instrumentation (C&I) EngineerSalary £42,249 - £63,374Hours 40 Hours per weekLocation & Postcode EnviRecover, DY104JDAs a Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Engineer at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for ensuring that plant instrumentation and systems are maintained in accordance with operational requirements. You will ensure calibration and compliance with statutory standards, respond to breakdowns, and support the delivery of maintenance, upgrades and installation projects within a demanding EfW facility environment.This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.Our promise to you- Competitive salary- 33 days annual leave- Pension scheme- Life insurance- On-the-job training and progression- Recognition scheme- Refer a friend- Flexible benefits, including high street savings, cycle to work scheme and Gymflex membership, and much more (where applicable)- Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing PlatformWhat will you be doing?- Ensuring all control and instrumentation systems are correctly operated, maintained, tested and calibrated in line with statutory requirements- Supporting planned maintenance outages and responding to unscheduled breakdowns- Managing maintenance, calibration and testing of specialist equipment, including DCS, CEMS and associated control systems- Supporting upgrades and new installation projects across the plant- Working closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure efficient delivery of maintenance activities- Supporting compliance with all health, safety and environmental standardsWhat are we looking for?- Experience working within a power station, process plant or similar industrial environment- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS)- Experience managing maintenance activities, contractors or small teams- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills- A recognised qualification in Control & Instrumentation or related engineering disciplineAbout UsWe are FCC Environment, one of the UKs leading waste and resource management companies.
