As a Quarry Operative at FCC Environment, you will support the safe and efficient operation of the quarry, ensuring that plant and equipment are operated and maintained correctly. You will be working as part of a production team to help deliver site operations in line with health, safety and environmental standards. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Operating fixed and mobile plant safely and efficiently
- Carrying out routine maintenance and daily checks on machinery
- Working as part of the production team to ensure smooth quarry operations
- Reporting any hazards, defects, accidents or near misses
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health, safety and environmental procedures
- Completing inspection records and ensuring equipment is maintained correctly
- Supporting site housekeeping, including clean-up and general maintenance
- Assisting with overtime and covering where required, including weekends
- Following company procedures and contributing to a safe working environment
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a quarry or similar environment
- Experience operating plant and machinery such as loading shovels or other mobile plant
- Good understanding of health and safety in an operational environment
- A proactive and positive approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexible attitude with willingness to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong awareness of safe working practices
