Location: Home Based (Travel Required)

As a Trainer at FCC Environment, you will design, deliver and continuously improve high-quality training across operations, ensuring colleagues are competent, compliant and confident in carrying out their duties safely and effectively. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?

  • Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes aligned to operational and compliance requirements
  • Deliver engaging classroom, virtual and practical training to managers, supervisors and operational teams
  • Support statutory and mandatory training compliance, including health & safety and environmental requirements
  • Work closely with operational managers, HR and L&D teams to identify training needs and support performance improvement
  • Ensure all training materials, records and assessments are accurate, up to date, and audit-ready
  • Embed a strong safety culture through training and best practice
  • Coach and support colleagues and managers, encouraging positive behaviours and standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and standardisation of training across sites
  • Travel to operational sites as required to deliver training and carry out assessments

What are we looking for?

  • Level 5 Leadership qualification (or equivalent) minimum requirement
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of leadership practice, supported by proven leadership capability and demonstrable experience in delivering leadership qualifications to colleagues at all levels across the organisation
  • The ability to influence, coach, and develop colleagues across the business
  • Recognised training or teaching qualification (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education & Training or equivalent)
  • Understanding of operational risk, health & safety and compliance within a regulated environment
  • Experience delivering training to a range of audiences, including operational and leadership teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate operational requirements into clear, practical training content
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
