HGV Driver (C+E)
Salary: £16.79 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 46.5 hours per week
Location: Herefordshire
As an HGV Driver (C+E), you will operate hook-lift vehicles to transport waste between our sites across Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Youll play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our waste management operations and provide excellent service in line with safety, environmental and operational standards.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week Wednesday to Sunday.

What will you be doing?
– Driving HGV hook-lift vehicles to service FCC sites and third-party waste facilities
– Carrying out daily vehicle inspections, safety checks and defect reporting
– Ensuring loads are secured safely and in line with company procedures
– Complying with transport legislation and maintaining accurate driver records
– Wearing issued PPE/uniform and maintaining high safety standards at all times
– Providing a polite and professional service to colleagues, customers and the public
– Supporting additional operational duties as required
What are we looking for?
– A valid C+E driving licence (clean licence preferred)
– Experience as an HGV driver (hook-lift experience desirable, but training can be provided)
– Knowledge of the local area (advantageous)
– A flexible, reliable and safety-conscious approach
– Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
– Commitment to health and safety in all aspects of work
