Hourly Rate – Up to £17.93 per hour (plus benefits)

Hours – Varied shift patterns, including Monday to Friday, Wednesday to Sunday, and Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.

Location – Hill & Moore, Pershore

As an HGV C+E Driver at FCC Environment, you will operate a hook lift HGV to transport waste between company sites across the Worcester and Herefordshire area, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of our waste management services. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working hours dependent on business requirements.

What will you be doing?

  • Driving HGV vehicles to service waste management facilities and transporting materials between company and third-party sites
  • Carrying out daily vehicle inspections, defect reporting, and basic maintenance checks
  • Operating hook lift equipment safely and in line with procedures
  • Ensuring loads are secured and transported safely at all times
  • Complying with transport legislation and maintaining accurate driver records
  • Following all health and safety procedures and reporting any incidents or issues
  • Maintaining a professional and courteous approach when dealing with colleagues and the public
  • Supporting wider site operations as required by your line manager

What are we looking for?

  • A valid HGV C+E driving licence
  • Previous HGV driving experience (essential)
  • Hook lift experience (desirable)
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, flexible and customer-focused approach
