As a Contract Fleet Administrator at FCC Environment, you will provide vital administrative support to our Transport Manager and the wider transport team. Your work will ensure the smooth, safe and compliant operation of our transport fleet, helping us maintain and improve efficiency across our logistics function.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working over 5 days a week.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting the day-to-day administration of the transport fleet
  • Helping ensure compliance with drivers hours and working time regulations
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date transport records and driver schedules
  • Assisting with documentation required for the Operators Licence and vehicle maintenance
  • Co-ordinating with internal teams, such as Service Delivery, to facilitate smooth operations
  • Preparing documentation and taking minutes for transport-related meetings
  • Assisting with fuel and mileage data collection for reporting
  • Supporting the Transport Manager with employee administration and compliance-related tasks

What are we looking for?

  • Previous administrative experience (transport or waste industry experience is a plus)
  • Good understanding of record-keeping and office administration practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and across departments
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach and commitment to high standards
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment
