Hours: 40 hours per week, 7.15 am to 4.00 pm, working five days per week, Mon-Fri, with catch-up Saturdays after a Bank Holiday

As a Loader / Operative at FCC Environment, you will work as part of a collection crew and/or street cleansing team within the West Devon contract. This vacancy is for a full-time position.

What will you be doing?
- To work within company policies at all times
- Be prepared to load the vehicle
- To undertake any duties as defined by the local management team
- To treat all company property with respect
- To treat all colleagues with respect
- To wear supplied PPE at all times
- Ensure that your designated vehicle is kept as clean as possible and in a roadworthy condition
- To undertake any administration duties as defined by the local management team
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a waste, recycling, or outdoor manual role is desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with working in all weather conditions
- Health & Safety awareness and manual handling training (training provided if needed)
- Ability to work collaboratively and follow instructions
- Knowledge of working with RCVs is advantageous but not essential
- Must be safety-conscious with a flexible, team-oriented approach
