As a Training Administrator Apprentice at FCC Environment, you will provide administrative support to the FCC Trainers and Learning & Development Manager, ensuring an efficient and effective service for FCC employees. You will play a key role in maintaining training records, coordinating learning activities, and supporting the delivery of training across the business.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week on an 18-month fixed-term contract.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing administrative support to the Learning & Development team
  • Maintaining accurate training records within the Training Database and Learning Management System
  • Creating and maintaining employee training accounts and records
  • Coordinating internal and external training course requests
  • Booking venues, trainers and resources to support successful course delivery
  • Preparing and issuing joining instructions for training delegates
  • Liaising with external training providers to arrange courses and obtain course information
  • Updating attendance records and training completion data
  • Producing accurate reports and training information for stakeholders
  • Supporting the management of mandatory and compliance training records
  • Building strong working relationships with trainers, suppliers and colleagues across the business
  • Ensuring all communications are accurate, professional and compliant with data protection requirements
  • Completing apprenticeship assignments and off-the-job learning requirements in line with programme expectations

What are we looking for?

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Experience working with databases and maintaining accurate records
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate keyboard skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management abilities
  • The ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines
  • Confidence working with a range of stakeholders across the business
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn
  • The ability to exercise sound judgement and know when to escalate issues
  • Experience with HTML would be advantageous
