Hours: 40 hours per week, 7am to 4pm, Mon-Fri with Catch-up Saturdays after a Bank Holiday

As a 3.5T Driver / Loader at FCC Environment, you will work as part of a collection crew and/or street cleansing team within the West Devon contract. You will operate a company vehicle safely and efficiently, supporting delivery and collection services while helping to maintain a high standard of service for our customers and communities. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Work as part of a collection crew and/or street cleansing team
- Operate a company 3.5T vehicle safely and efficiently
- Load waste and recyclables onto the vehicle as required
- Ensure vehicle and equipment are roadworthy and safe to use
- Drive in compliance with legal and environmental requirements
- Adhere to company policies and health and safety procedures
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance standards
- Assist with administrative duties as directed by the management team
- Report any accidents, near-misses, or unsafe conditions
- Promote energy efficiency and safe working practices
What are we looking for?
- Valid 3.5T driving licence (essential)
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Reliable and trustworthy, with good timekeeping
- Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of the West Devon area (desirable but not essential)
- No prior experience required, full training will be provided
