A knowledgeable, skilled, and motivated team are eager to share their expertise with you, covering both theoretical and practical competencies required for a successful career in resource management. You will work alongside our expert teams delivering Municipal Waste and Recycling Contracts across Hull & East Riding. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain a Chartered Management Degree (CMD) over a 3.5-year period.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Gain practical experience four days a week within operational environments
- Support the Contract Manager and Team in delivering services and reporting
- Carry out data input, analysis, and performance monitoring
- Schedule and monitor operational activities
- Communicate with councils, operations teams, and management
- Assist with facility and workshop operations and back-office functions
- Implement and maintain FCC's integrated management systems including Health & Safety
- Support delivery of Social Value and Carbon programmes
- Understand the commercial and regulatory frameworks
- One study day per week at Arden University to complete the CMD curriculum
Training and Qualification
You will receive:
- A Level 6 Chartered Management Degree (with honours)
- BA/BSc/BB English and Maths Level 2 (if not already achieved)
- All mandatory, site-specific, and safety training
- Divisional practical training and coaching on management techniques
- Quarterly progress reviews

You must hold a Full Manual UK Driving Licence and have access to a suitable vehicle.
