As a Loader / Waste Operative at FCC Environment, you will work as part of a collection crew supporting refuse and recycling services. You will be expected to carry out loading duties safely and efficiently, interact positively with residents and customers, and support operational and health & safety requirements in line with company procedures. This vacancy is for a full-time position, working as part of a team.

What will you be doing?

  • Working as part of a refuse or recycling collection crew
  • Loading waste and recyclable materials onto collection vehicles in line with training and instructions
  • Carrying out duties safely and in accordance with company policies, procedures and current legislation
  • Wearing and caring for PPE provided
  • Reporting any non-conforming waste, unsafe acts, incidents or accidents to management
  • Interacting with residents and customers in a polite and courteous manner
  • Operating equipment as instructed and trained
