Location: Home-based (Extensive Travel Required in the Northwest and Scotland)
As a Health & Safety Advisor at FCC Environment, you will advise Managers and Supervisors on all safety, health and welfare matters to ensure the Company meets its legal and statutory obligations. The role involves extensive travel, with visits to various operational sites across the Northwest and Scotland, typically requiring 3 to 4 days per week to provide on-site support, inspections, and guidance.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:
- Providing expert advice and guidance on health, safety and welfare across sites
- Supporting Managers and Supervisors to ensure legal compliance with health and safety legislation
- Carrying out health & safety inspections, audits and reporting findings
- Advising on risk assessments, control measures and PPE standards
- Supporting the development of a positive safety culture across the business
- Delivering health & safety training and coaching to operational teams
- Monitoring performance against targets and supporting continuous improvement
- Liaising with external bodies such as the HSE and other regulatory authorities
Experience required:
- Experience in a similar Health & Safety role (essential)
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
- Full UK driving licence
