As a 7.5T Driver / Loader at FCC Environment, you will complete recycling/municipal collections across the West Devon area. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a company vehicle, ensuring that collections are carried out to a high standard while maintaining a strong focus on health and safety and excellent customer service.

What will you be doing?
- Carry out recycling/municipal collections as part of a collection crew
- Safely and efficiently operate a company-owned 7.5T vehicle
- Ensure that any vehicle or equipment used is mechanically safe and roadworthy
- Drive in compliance with legal and environmental requirements
- Load and unload waste and recycling in accordance with operational guidelines
- Ensure loads comply with all legal and environmental requirements
- Follow company policies and procedures, and comply with health and safety legislation
- Report any unsafe practices, accidents, near-misses, or hazards to line management
- Promote and adopt energy-efficient working practices
- Maintain good communication with colleagues and customers
- Deliver excellent customer service as a representative of FCC Environment
What are we looking for?
- Must hold a valid 7.5T driving licence
- Must hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
- Manual handling or waste industry experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of the West Devon area is an advantage
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures
- Reliable, trustworthy and customer-focused
