As a Bid Writer at FCC Environment, you will play a key role in supporting the preparation of high-quality bid submissions. You will be responsible for writing clear, compelling responses that help secure both new and existing contracts across our municipal services. This vacancy is for a full‑time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Writing high‑quality method statement responses for tender submissions
- Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather required information
- Producing clear, well‑presented bid content to agreed deadlines
- Continuously improving the quality and presentation of submissions
- Supporting the development of wider bid and contract documentation
- Attending meetings with colleagues and clients where required
What are we looking for?
- Experience writing and editing bid or proposal content in a complex environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
- The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines effectively
- Confident working both independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (including Word, PowerPoint and Project)
- Ideally, educated to A‑Level or above, with a background in writing, English or similar
