Hours – 40 hours per week (including weekends and bank holidays)

Responsibilities
- Operating the weighbridge system and accurately recording all vehicle and waste movements
- Ensuring all documentation, including transfer notes, is completed correctly
- Monitoring and managing site traffic to ensure safe and efficient turnaround
- Checking that all waste carriers are registered and compliant
- Greeting drivers, visitors and contractors in a polite and professional manner
- Supporting the receipt and dispatch of site materials
- Completing daily checks on equipment and reporting any defects
- Assisting with inductions and maintaining accurate site records
- Maintaining site security and adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
Qualifications and requirements
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and environmental requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to deal with a range of people
- Computer literate with the ability to use operating systems
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Experience in a similar role or operational environment (desirable, not essential)
- A reliable, flexible and detail-oriented approach
