  • Hours – 48 hours per week

As a Plant Operator at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of plant equipment, ensuring waste is handled safely and efficiently.

This is a full-time position, working five days per week.

What will you be doing?

  • Operating plant and machinery safely in line with procedures
  • Carrying out daily checks and reporting any faults or defects
  • Ensuring only permitted waste is accepted and handled correctly
  • Maintaining accurate records as required
  • Supporting site rules and ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Keeping machinery, work areas and rest facilities clean and tidy
  • Working closely with management and other team members to keep operations running smoothly
  • Following all health, safety and environmental procedures at all times

What are we looking for?

  • Previous telehandler experience is essential
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Experience operating machinery or working in a similar environment (desirable)
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work
  • Health and safety focused with strong attention to detail
