Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Football Coach role based in Colindale.
The Football Coach will plan and deliver structured training sessions that develop players’ technical skills, fitness, and tactical understanding.
Responsibilities include preparing session plans, leading practice drills, supervising matches, and providing constructive feedback to support individual and team performance.
The coach will monitor player progress, maintain clear communication with players and guardians, and promote a safe, respectful, and motivating environment.
Additional tasks may include coordinating with other coaching staff, supporting talent identification, and contributing to club events and development programs.
Qualifications
- Strong football-specific expertise, including Football Coaching, Coaching, and Football skills.
- Ability to design and run effective Training sessions that develop technical, tactical, and physical aspects of the game.
- Clear and confident Communication skills to interact with players, guardians, and club staff.
- Recognized coaching certifications or licenses (e. g., national or regional football coaching badges) are highly beneficial.
- Experience coaching youth or adult teams within a club or academy environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to player welfare, safeguarding best practices, and inclusive coaching methods.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
