The Role

As a Trainee Corporate FX Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with UK companies that trade internationally and introducing them to FC Global's foreign exchange and international payment solutions. Working alongside experienced members of our team, you'll receive hands-on training in foreign exchange markets, international payments and corporate sales techniques.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proactively contacting prospective corporate clients by telephone, email and LinkedIn.
  • Building relationships with business owners, finance directors and key decision-makers.
  • Understanding clients' international payment requirements and identifying opportunities to assist.
  • Developing and managing your own pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Working towards individual sales targets and contributing to the growth of the business.
  • Keeping accurate records of sales activity and client interactions using our CRM system.
  • Developing your knowledge of financial markets, currency movements and FX risk management.

What We're Looking For

We're not necessarily looking for someone with an impressive CV or years of experience. We're looking for someone with the right attitude and determination to succeed. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Ambitious and driven, with a genuine desire to build a successful career.
  • Confident and outgoing, comfortable speaking to new people and building relationships.
  • Resilient and competitive, with the ability to handle rejection and stay motivated.
  • Money-motivated, with a strong desire to increase earnings through performance.
  • A quick learner, keen to develop new skills and understand financial markets.
  • Organised and self-motivated, capable of managing their own workload and sales pipeline.
  • A strong communicator, both over the telephone and in writing.

Previous experience in sales, recruitment, estate agency, telesales or customer-facing roles would be advantageous, but is not essential. No previous FX or financial services experience is required.

What We Offer

  • Competitive basic salary of £22,000–£27,000, depending on experience.
  • Uncapped commission structure, rewarding individual performance.
  • Comprehensive training in foreign exchange, international payments and corporate sales.
  • Ongoing coaching and support from experienced industry professionals.
  • Opportunity to develop and manage your own portfolio of corporate clients.
