KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Under 18s Head Coach

To ensure the coaching and playing philosophy is implemented and embedded daily on the training pitch.

To coordinate the daily operations of the U18s and manage the Under 18s monthly programme, working closely with the SLT team.

To ensure the 360 player platform is up to date – including all training sessions, fixtures and player reviews.

To regularly update the Head of PE within school on the progress of players both on and off the field

Analysis – produce and deliver content to the players using Veo cameras

To review the progress of the scholar\’s development and conduct 12 weekly face-to-face meetings in accordance with the review process.

To attend CPD where required

To undertake personal CPD as appropriate to meet the demands of the role.

To attend phase specific coaching meetings and carry out any other duties as required by the Academy Manager or Head of Coaching.

To support the culture and always represent the club in the best possible light.

PHASE LEAD ROLE

Oversee organisation of 3 age groups

oFixture organisation, communication with opposition, age group coach, parents (via 360 player)

oEnsuring equipment is arranged for relevant coaches

oCoordinating referees for home fixtures, with the support of Head’s of Football

oEnsuring results are communicated with the leagues and uploaded on to relevant platforms

Ensuring all players within your phase are registered via the Whole Game System & League systems for the seasons ahead and any transfers/updates are completed prior to new player signing

Ensuring 360 player is up to date within your phase

oMember information is up to date

oAll training & match invites are sent out to players within your phase each week

Supporting the staff within your phase

oMonthly catch ups with coaches

oSupporting at any fixtures

oAny analysis support required for staff to be able to support group

Point of contact for parents within your phase

Oversee the player reporting process for your phase, with support from Head of Football

oInitial communication with staff

oEnsure deadlines are met

oReports reviewed before being sent out to parents/players

Supporting on the recruitment of new coaches into your phase

Watch practical interviews / first stage interviews (when required)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERTISE

3+ years of coaching experience (experience within a professional desirable)

Minimum UEFA B in football coaching (UEFA A desirable)

Ambitious and proactive in personal development

Excellent communication – written and verbal

Ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure

Able to manage time to an excellent standard

Ability to work across multiple teams of people
