Graduate Product Design Engineer Location: Exeter Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full Time An established design business is looking to recruit a Graduate Product Design Engineer to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and motivated individual looking to develop their career in product design. The position will involve working on a variety of projects from initial concepts through to detailed designs and production. Responsibilities * Develop new product concepts and design ideas * Produce 3D CAD models and technical drawings * Create visual presentations and product renderings * Assist with prototype development and product testing * Work closely with colleagues throughout the design process * Consider materials, manufacturing methods and product functionality * Support projects from concept through to production Requirements * Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Furniture Design or similar * Experience using 3D CAD design software (Inventor, SolidWorks, Fusion, etc.) * Strong creative thinking and problem solving skills * Ability to produce sketches, concepts and visual presentations * Good understanding of materials and manufacturing processes * Strong attention to detail and communication skills * Experience with prototyping or workshop processes beneficial Benefits * Salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum * Opportunity to develop within an established business * Varied design projects and hands on experience * Supportive working environment with career progression opportunities To Apply If you're a recent graduate or junior Product Design Engineer looking to develop your career in product design, please apply with an up to date CV
