FC Darlington Locomotives is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sport & Wellbeing Officer to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of The Loco Hub, a new community space supporting women and girls through sport, wellbeing, education and community engagement.
The successful applicant will deliver football and multi-sport sessions in schools, at the club and within the community, while also helping to deliver a range of wellbeing activities including walk and talk groups, coffee mornings, employability support, community events and women's wellbeing programmes.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is passionate about making a difference and wants to develop a career within community sport.
We are looking for someone who
- Is passionate about sport and community wellbeing.
- Enjoys working with children, young people and adults.
- Can confidently deliver football and wider sport sessions.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and approachable.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a vehicle.
