The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 £ per year.

We are a growing, family-run property investment and development business seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to take ownership of our finance function. This is a standalone role overseeing 50+ entities, working closely with Directors to drive financial accuracy, controls, and growth. We are looking for someone who has good tax planning experience in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day finance across multiple entities
  • Oversee AP/AR, ledgers, and intercompany transactions
  • Implement financial processes and controls
  • Prepare financial data for external accountants
  • Monitor budgets, costs, and VAT compliance
  • Support refinancing and lender requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience in multi-entity finance (property sector preferred)
  • Strong intercompany accounting and VAT knowledge
  • Xero (or similar) experience
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive
