An exciting opportunity for an experienced Supplier Quality Manager to lead quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives across a complex logistics and supply chain program. The role will focus on ensuring quality compliance across procurement, storage, and distribution processes while driving supplier performance and audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance frameworks across the supply chain
  • Conduct internal, external, and supplier audits in line with ISO9001 / AQAP standards
  • Act as the main point of contact for supplier quality issues and escalations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance quality processes
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems and operational procedures
  • Produce audit reports with actionable insights for performance improvement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor and improve programme performance
  • Support audit readiness by coordinating documentation and compliance evidence
  • Deliver quality training and awareness across the business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality assurance within logistics, procurement, or supply chain environments
  • Strong understanding of audit processes and compliance frameworks
  • Experience managing supplier quality and performance
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally overseas
  • Experience with defence or regulated environments
  • Knowledge of AQAP, defence standards, or similar frameworks
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, SharePoint, Jira, and MS Office
  • Experience with procurement/sourcing platforms
