Are you an experienced Compliance professional with expertise in waste management regulations? Do you have a solid understanding of environmental legislation and compliance frameworks? We are looking for a Compliance Manager (SHEQ) to join a dynamic team in Nottinghamshire.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee environmental and waste compliance, ensuring the business adheres to all regulations.
- Ensure full compliance with waste management regulations and environmental legislation.
- Oversee ISO 14001 compliance and auditing, ideally holding a Lead Auditor qualification.
- Develop and implement compliance processes and policies in line with industry best practices.
- Provide guidance on environmental policies and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to maintain high compliance standards.
- Manage and support a direct report within the compliance team.
Requirements:
- Experience in waste management compliance.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance processes.
- A degree in Environmental Science, Compliance, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
- A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for site visits.
