Location: Colwick, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £50,000 + Annual Performance Bonus + Benefits

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Travel: Occasional travel to Leicester site (Mileage expenses covered)

Are you an experienced Compliance professional with expertise in waste management regulations? Do you have a solid understanding of environmental legislation and compliance frameworks? We are looking for a Compliance Manager (SHEQ) to join a dynamic team in Nottinghamshire.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee environmental and waste compliance, ensuring the business adheres to all regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with waste management regulations and environmental legislation.
  • Oversee ISO 14001 compliance and auditing, ideally holding a Lead Auditor qualification.
  • Develop and implement compliance processes and policies in line with industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance on environmental policies and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to maintain high compliance standards.
  • Manage and support a direct report within the compliance team.

Requirements:

  • Experience in waste management compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance processes.
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Compliance, or a related field is beneficial but not essential.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle for site visits.
