I am currently recruiting on behalf of a medium sized housing developer based within Ringwood, Hampshire. They produce a fantastic product and have an excellent reputation within this sector. They normally produce between 50-150 units per site and have a lot of new sites starting very soon in the coming months. They now seek a Quantity Surveyor to join on a permanent basis. The salary on offer would be between £60k-£75k p/a DOE and level of surveying operating at.
Responsibilities
- You will be employed as a Quantity Surveyor working 5 days a week in an office-based role.
- You will be expected to work Monday-Friday assisting the commercial team and the other contracted surveyors within the business.
- Day to day duties will include financial management, financial reports, settlement of accounts, looking at variations, looking at valuations with both client and sub-contractors and overall cost reporting and budgeting.
Qualifications
- You must have previous experience as a surveyor within the housing development sector.
- You must have a qualification in surveying or an educational equivalent to be considered for the role.
- You must be approachable, adaptable, hardworking and reliable.
- They need somebody who can hit the ground running, so somebody who can identify issues and problem solve as best as possible.
