One of our long standing civil engineering clients based in the South West of England have secured a large civil engineering project between Bridgewater and Bristol. They are seeking a full time site based Project Quantity Surveyor.
Project:
- The project is a large £7.5 million roads and highways project working in collaboration with a Tier One contractor.
- This one-year NEC (option B) contract includes site clearance, earthworks, ducting, road pavements, kerbs, foot ways, paving, traffic signs and signals, surfacing, landscaping, and ecological work.
- You will be site based, closely monitoring the project's cost performance and contract administration to ensure successful delivery.
- Working alongside the project team and project manager.
- General knowledge of monitoring cost performance of projects and contract administration, cost to completion and a key eye on updating all records.
- Evidence of working in a team and building effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Experience in a civil engineering / highways maintenance environment, self-delivery is an advantage.
- NEC experience is essential.
Work with: A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients. You'll collaborate with the area quantity surveyor, commercial manager and project manager.
