FBM Architects is an award-winning practice committed to good design and delivery of projects. We are now seeking Architects or Architectural Technicians, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in RIBA stages 4-6, to join our studio. We are a successful design-led RIBA Chartered practice based in Old Street, London and we work on a wide range of creative and challenging projects, across many sectors including residential, hospitality, education and commercial.
Our recent projects include the multi-award-winning Regent Place in Tower Hamlets and the Civic Trust Awards-shortlisted Bancroft and Wickford Street, as well as estate regeneration schemes for the London Boroughs of Southwark and Tower Hamlets. The practice has also expanded into the hospitality sector, delivering new-build and major refurbishment projects.
In this role, you will support the detailed design and delivery of large-scale, high-profile residential schemes, collaborating with leading clients within teams of varying scales.
Experience and skills- Proficiency in Revit – minimum 3 years’ experience.
- RIBA 4-6 production information stage experience – at least 3 years and preferably in medium to large scale residential projects.
- Experience in interior and building envelope construction documentation.
- A good eye for detail and the desire to play a key role in the production of construction packages.
- Ability to coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent and technical accuracy.
- Aptitude to work in a larger team whilst also demonstrating autonomy.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite is also beneficial.
