As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will join a specialist team working with cutting-edge mission and avionics systems, collaborating closely with expert partners to advance next-generation capability.
The Role
In this role, you will provide high-quality systems and operational analysis to support the design, evaluation and assurance of advanced military aviation systems. Working as part of an embedded engineering team, you will lead analysis activities, develop and validate software tools, support flight test programmes, and contribute expert insight to ensure safe, effective and future-focused capability development.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a subject matter expert for mission and avionics systems
- Leading systems integration and flight test analysis activities
- Applying verification and validation techniques to support airworthiness and safety
- Defining, developing and supporting test plans and operational analysis
- Supervising and mentoring engineers within the analysis team
Essential Experience
- Strong background in technical analysis and problem solving across the engineering lifecycle
- Proficiency in engineering software development (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C++)
- Experience in systems engineering or aerospace engineering
- Experience working within safety-critical or regulated environments
- Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present technical findings

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant STEM discipline
- Eligibility or willingness to obtain UK Security Clearance
