Our client, a leader in the IT sector, is currently seeking a Procurement Data & Automation Analyst for a 6-month contract position to join their team. This role is integral to accelerating procurement decision-making and enhancing transactional efficiency through advanced analytics, dashboarding, and workflow automation.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and refresh Power BI reports on spend, preferred supplier lists, supplier KPIs, and innovation menu cards
- Optimise DAX, data models, and refresh schedules for self-service insights
- Map manual workflows and build Power Apps / Power Automate solutions
- Leverage AI-driven insights and auto-generated reports using Microsoft Copilot & Copilot Agents
- Create end-to-end process maps to visualise current versus future workflows; document 'as-is' versus 'to-be' processes, embedding controls and KPIs
- Train end-users through concise PowerPoint decks and live demonstrations
- Maintain procurement catalogues and cleanse master data
- Collaborate with vendors for data validation and onboarding; present analytical findings to Category Leads & leadership
- Experience in data analytics or procurement operations
- Expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Dataflows)
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, VBA/macros)
- Proficiency in Power Apps & Power Automate design
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Agents
- Knowledge of process-mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro) and BPMN
- Strong skills in storytelling and deck-building (PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills in English, confident in engaging suppliers
- Experience with SQL or Python for data preparation
- Familiarity with SAP/Ariba or Coupa
- Knowledge of Dataverse
- Experience with ESG / risk dashboards
- Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
- Location: Hybrid - Chiswick office 2-3 days per week (UK-based)
