Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a DV Cleared DevOps Engineer to join their team in Malvern. This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled professional to work on exciting and vital projects within a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with coworkers to conceptualise, develop, and release software
  • Conducting quality assurance to ensure that the software meets prescribed guidelines
  • Rolling out fixes and upgrades to software, as needed
  • Securing software to prevent security breaches and other vulnerabilities
  • Collecting and reviewing customer feedback to enhance user experience
  • Suggesting alterations to workflow in order to improve efficiency and success
  • Pitching ideas for projects based on gaps in the market and technological advancements

Job Requirements:

  • Active MOD DV Clearance
  • Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, Python, PowerShell, and REST APIs
  • Experience with Kubernetes cluster build and application delivery
  • Application experience with Apache NiFi, Elastic ECK, and Artifactory
  • Knowledge of secret management tools, particularly Hashicorp Vault
  • Proficiency in operating systems, specifically Redhat and Windows
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, or an adjacent field
  • Prior experience at all phases of the software product life cycle, from conception to extinction
  • Experience using an array of automation tools
  • Familiarity with software security methods
  • Demonstrated experience using a wide variety of coding languages
  • Top-notch decision-making and collaborative abilities
  • Customer-oriented with the ability to receive and use constructive criticism
