My client is currently seeking a skilled Virtual Engineering Ops professional for a contract role. This opportunity involves working on a range of exciting projects, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation strategies to streamline operations
- Managing enterprise desktop and server environments to ensure optimal performance
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts for various processes
- Ensuring the security and compliance of systems and data
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and engineer scalable platforms
- Optimising system performance and monitoring infrastructure health
- Performing virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) deployments
- Managing and executing project deliverables efficiently
Job Requirements:
- Core technical expertise in engineering within the technology sector
- Experience with Citrix, VMware (vSphere, ESXi), and Terraform
- Proficiency in Azure/AWS cloud platforms
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Packer and Jenkins
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Desktop Management, along with Group Policy Management
- Exposure to DevOps & CI/CD practices
- Understanding of security and compliance standards
- Skills in scripting and automation, including the use of Gitlab/Github
