Our client, a leading organisation within the technology sector, is seeking a Helpdesk Analyst to provide on-site IT support in Fareham on a contract basis. The role will involve assisting users with day-to-day technical queries and resolving issues relating to laptops, computers and other IT equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing first-line IT support through the service desk
- Responding to technical queries and troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Assisting users with laptop and computer-related problems
- Logging, updating and progressing support tickets in line with service desk procedures
- Escalating more complex incidents to the appropriate technical teams
- Maintaining clear and accurate records of incidents and resolutions
- Delivering professional and helpful customer service to all users
Job Requirements:
- Experience in an IT Service Desk or Helpdesk Analyst role
- Basic knowledge of laptops, desktop computers and common IT hardware
- Understanding of first-line troubleshooting and incident management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on site five days a week in Fareham
- A methodical approach to resolving technical issues
