Our client, a leading company in the defence and security sector, is seeking an IT Project/Delivery Manager to join their manufacturing team in Glenrothes, Fife on a fixed-term basis. This role is part of a hybrid position within the company, providing an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to make a significant impact in critical transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the full lifecycle of organisational transformation initiatives
- Managing projects on time, within scope, and aligned to expected benefits
- Collaborating across functions to drive change and manage risks
- Ensuring effective execution of initiatives such as process redesign, system implementation, and operating model changes
- Adhering to the Raytheon Enterprise Project Management (REPM) framework
- Developing detailed project plans and leading cross-functional teams
- Ensuring strong governance, clear reporting, and adherence to organisational standards
- Providing clear, insightful updates to senior stakeholders and governance boards
Job Requirements:
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience as a Transformation Delivery Manager or Project Manager
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders
- Experience delivering process, systems, or operating model changes
- Availability to work in a contract/interim capacity with a delivery-focused mindset
- Eligible for SC clearance
Desirable Experience:
- Formal project management certification or training
- Experience in transformation within large, regulated, or complex organisations
- Exposure to system implementations (e.g., ERP, planning tools, data platforms)
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, defence, or technology environments
